KrypAzan is designed around anonymous, offline-first use. This policy explains what stays on your device and when external API requests are made.
KrypAzan does not require user registration, sign-up, or login. You can use the app anonymously, and we do not collect or store names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account identifiers.
Core features such as Qibla direction, Tasbeeh counts, Quran bookmarks, and local preferences are processed on your device.
Bookmarks, logs, and settings are stored locally. Compass calculations use device sensors locally and are not sent to our servers.
You can configure your location manually by entering a city and country. GPS-based lookups are only performed when you request them.
KrypAzan does not perform background GPS tracking and does not link location lookups to a user account.
The KrypAzan API proxies prayer-time and mosque-search requests to third-party providers such as Aladhan, Geoapify, Google Places, and Foursquare.
Requests are used to return the feature you asked for and may be cached or quota-tracked without personal identifiers.
Because KrypAzan does not host user accounts, cloud recovery is not available from us. Local backups remain under your control.
